Hygrocybe vitellina (Fr.) Karst syn. Hygrophorus vitellinus Fr. Zitronengelber Saftling. Cap 1–2cm across, convex soon expanding and often slightly depressed, bright yellow, the margin often striate. Stem 10–35 x 1–3mm, concolorous with cap. Flesh thin, yellow. Taste none, smell delicate, slightly perfumed. Gills decurrent, bright yellow. Spore print white. Spores elliptic-ovoid, 6–8 x 4.5–5um. Habitat amongst damp moss. Season late summer to autumn. Rare. Edibility unknown -avoid. Found In Europe.
